2. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, password credentials, email verification status, and authentication data needed to keep your account secure.
When you use the converter, we collect the video file you upload, processing metadata, conversion status, progress information, logs needed to troubleshoot the conversion, and the generated output file.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to create and protect your account, verify your email address, receive your upload, process the video, generate the reframed output, provide a download link, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
4. Video processing and retention
Uploaded videos and generated outputs are used only to provide the reframing service. They are stored temporarily and are designed to be deleted after a short retention window, currently up to 15 minutes after processing is completed or no longer needed.
Because files expire quickly, you should download your output as soon as the conversion finishes.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, we process account and upload data to perform the service you request, to maintain security, to comply with legal obligations, and based on legitimate interests such as preventing misuse and improving product reliability.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data or video files. We may share limited data with service providers that help us host the application, send email, store files temporarily, process jobs, monitor errors, or operate infrastructure. These providers may only process data for the service purposes we authorize.
7. Cookies and local preferences
Match Reels may use cookies or local storage for authentication, session security, theme preferences, and normal application functionality. If analytics or marketing cookies are added in the future, this policy should be updated to describe them.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect accounts, uploads, and outputs. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and avoid uploading content you are not allowed to process.
